Smith and Hawken has been a name in gardening for 30 years. In 2004, Scotts Miracle-Gro acquired the company, and has now decided to close its doors. A final liquidation and going out of business sale started in early July, 2009. While they are no longer taking orders online, they are selling all inventory in their 56 retail store locations.
